In following with the HTPC theme, I’ve got something else for Media Centre buffs. These are icons to distinguish between 720p movies / videos and 1080i . These are provided as vector images and are saved in Illustrator CS3 format. The silver and gold colours will help to set apart the two different qualities of video. If you do find this usefull, pleaseĀ leave a comment, or provide a link back to us. Thanks.
There was an excellent TV series a year or two ago called Day Break and The Other Side by David Gray was one of the songs from the show. If you haven’t seen Day Break, check it out. If you haven’t heard this song before, have a listen.
My favourite show on television is Lost. I have a lot of favourite TV Shows, Movies and Music and it’s hard to name 1 favourite, but Lost is my favourite TV Show. I love the Fray and while I was waiting for Season 5 of Lost to begin again, I found this (no pun intended). I’ve already posted the official trailer here, but for Lost fans, this is brilliant. Enjoy.
Snow Patrol is one of those groups who have really good albums the whole way through. This is You Are All That I Have and is one of my favourites from their album. Hope you like it.
I saw System Of A Down live at Big Day Out, Gold Coast, Australia in 2001 and have enjoyed there music ever since. Aerials was one of their bigger hits apart from Chop Suey. Not your average group but not as hardcore as Slip Knot. I hope you enjoy.
You may have noticed the amount of YouTube videos on the site. As this is a site about design I always feel I get inspiration from all levels of media, be it film, music or print. Often I can listen to a song and get a feeling which I portay in my design.
So in short, that’s why you see a lot of Music Videos from YouTube and movie trailers. If you want to watch a film that can inspire with music and visuals, I recommend The Fountain. One of my highest rated films ever. Anyway, just my thoughts. Hope you enjoy the blog.
Alejandro Manzano and Stephen Hatker of Boyce Avenue bring this cover of How To Save A Life by The Fray. I love listening to alternate takes on songs and Boyce Avenue do a fantastic job as always. I hope you enjoy.
In reference to the Ninja Kittens post, here is the music video for P.O.D.’s School Of Hard Knocks from the film Little Nicky starring Adam Sandler. Love the kittens and dogs in this clip.
When Spiderman came out, this song was played everywhere. Hero is sung by the lead singer of Nickelback for the film Spiderman. Memories flood back to me. Hope you like it too.
Staind is one of my all time favourite bands. This was one of the first songs of theirs that I had heard, It’s Been A While. I loved the fact that there was an association with Limp Bizkit and Evanesence. I hope you enjoy the music video.
