In following with the HTPC theme, I’ve got something else for Media Centre buffs. These are icons to distinguish between 720p movies / videos and 1080i . These are provided as vector images and are saved in Illustrator CS3 format. The silver and gold colours will help to set apart the two different qualities of video. If you do find this usefull, please leave a comment, or provide a link back to us. Thanks.
In follow up to the Blu-Ray Vector Front Case Template for Illustrator comes the HD-DVD version. You can find the Blu-Ray version here. I created this in order to have HD-DVD fronts show up differently on my HTPC (or media centre) at home. As I have a lot of movies, I sometimes have the same one on DVD and HD-DVD.
Something special today. I have a Home Theatre setup with a vast collection of DVD’s and now Blu-Ray & HD-DVD’s. I wanted to display the Blu-Ray movies differently than the DVD’s so I looked everywhere but couldn’t find a template.
So, I created this template to meet my needs and maybe yours. Read more
My favourite show on television is Lost. I have a lot of favourite TV Shows, Movies and Music and it’s hard to name 1 favourite, but Lost is my favourite TV Show. I love the Fray and while I was waiting for Season 5 of Lost to begin again, I found this (no pun intended). I’ve already posted the official trailer here, but for Lost fans, this is brilliant. Enjoy.
Found this on YouTube today and thought it was fantastic. I love music as much as I love graphic design and computers. Alejandro, Fabian, and Daniel Manzano of Boyce Avenue perform a cover of Linkin Parks Shadow Of The Day and I think it needs to be seen to judge for yourself. Personally, these guys are great and you’ll be seeing more of their covers soon.
Oh No, Oh No. I’m Beached bro, Beached As. I saw this clip about 6 months ago and thought it was hilarious. Promptly showed it to my New Zealand step mother and cracked up. I’ve even seen shirts down at at Supre store in Brisbane. If you haven’t seen this already, I suggest giving it a go for a good clean laugh.

Hadn’t really heard of this one, but after seeing the trailer I think this will be quite funny. The movie stars Jack Black and that guy from “Juno” and “Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist” Michael Cera. Check out the trailer in HD below. Year One launches in Australia 18 June 2009.
G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra looks like a big budget film worthy of the title. With big names like Dennis Quaid and Marlon Wayans this film has great support with fantastic special effects. Set for a release of 6 August 2009 in Australia. Here’s the trailer via YouTube in HD.
